In the 1950s, when countless Tibetans were forced to leave their own homeland, since then India is home to many of them. Away from home at TIPA, the Tibetans — who are perhaps the only people in the world who believes in reincarnation — do everything they can to save their core culture.
One can't imagine the pain of being away from their homeland. Many young boys and girls at TIPA, who are born to Tibetan parents in India, have never seen their country. Old Tibetans — who had to escape their country years back — tells them about the beauty, the culture of the Tibet they dream of.
